NJCAEF is hiring a full‐time, Test Coordinator (TC) for the fair housing department. The Testing Coordinator’s primary duty is planning, coordinating and evaluating fair housing testing investigations and maintaining all documentation relating to complaint allegations and investigations. The Testing Coordinator is primarily responsible for administering the agency’s testing program as well as advocating for home seekers who have experienced housing discrimination. Testing is a method of measuring and documenting differences in treatment experienced by home-seekers. The position has responsibility over all aspects of Paterson Habitat’s finance function and will lead a team of three in fulfilling its responsibilities. The position also includes administrative responsibilities such as collecting and reviewing client documents, timely client data entry/tracking, and monthly reporting.Īs a member of Monarch’s Housing Development Team, the Housing Development Associate will assist in the day-to-day management of affordable housing development projects and will provide support in all phases of development including acquisition, feasibility analysis, design, land use approvals, securing financing, construction and initial leasing/marketing. This process includes client intake, financial and affordability analysis, and an action plan and follow-up. Counselors will provide expert advice customized to the client’s individual needs in order to address housing barriers and achieve housing goals. They will conduct one-on-one counseling in the areas of financial literacy (budget management, credit counseling), and housing counseling (includes homeless prevention, rental, and default/foreclosure assistance). Our HUD Housing Counselor will be responsible for coordinating our HUD Housing Counseling Program. The Community Development Manager I coordinates various Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities within a defined market to ensure compliance with lending, investment and service guidelines established by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the agency responsible for enforcing CRA guidelines.
